Seen too many sites were it was only relationship based and it was all about who so-and-so is going to get with? Not here.
This is a dual-site, plot driven Harry Potter RPG. Set in Harry's seventh year, The Last Year provides a unique approach to role-playing. Everything is very much the same, but here the Wizarding Wireless Network will give unexpected updates on what is honestly going on in the outside world. Here your characters are reminded consistently that there is indeed a war out there and you are going to have to choose a side. We encourage confusion and conflict of interest in you character of course, but both sides will be tugging at you. Unless of course your name is Harry Potter, in which case your fate is set before you!
Harry, Hermione, and Ron are of course in hot pursuit of finding out what and where horcruxes could be. Though at school, they can often be noticed missing classes at the same time. Peculiar, but the staff seems to have said little about it. And what is this mention of Grindewald? The name seems to have struck Hermione, but she is having trouble placing where she heard it. And what of these Deathly Hallows? Are they simply a wizarding legend with relation to the mark around Lovegood's neck, or do they have more importance to what Harry Potter has to do?
Without the watchful eyes of Dumbledore, Harry is forced to rely on his best mates, Ronald and Hermione more than ever. But is Dumbledore really gone? What of that glimmer of a blue eye in the shard of mirror Harry still has from Sirius?
Though the true allegiance of Draco is questionable, as Harry saw first-hand Draco's actions last year, there is one thing for certain - Severus Snape is enemy more than ever.
This site intends to follow the "canon" of the last book, but with original twists. This means that the course of events will be geared towards what happened in the book, but we depend on you to help us 'figure things out' and help us find our own unique way to proceed through Harry's Seventh Year. After all if it happened just like the book there would be no reason to rp it (you'd just read the book again!)
