Welcome to Spica Academy for Dedicated Young Mutants

Season: Autumn

By the year of 2100, as the the mutants population had dominated the world and only a few population of human beings were left out. Mutants were actually human beings but the difference was that they owned special abilities normal humans didn't have. They had abilities such as telekinesis, telepathy, controlling elements, superhuman strength, and others.

Basically, mutants had discovered their abilities since they were about 3 years old. But it hadn't been developed yet. They hadn't even discovered how to use techniques of their abilities. That's why, one of the first mutants even born in the late 21st century, established an academy dedicated to gifted youngsters. Named Spica Academy, the school's goal was to give birth to tough and brave mutants in the future.

News

The school term hasn't started yet. It is about two weeks before classes begin. Teachers, staffs, and especially students are opened for registrations for now. For those who have registered, the sorting will be started and for those who come from previous term, may be preparing for the new one.

Aoife had come for a bit of peace and quiet, away from the rush and bustle of the school. In her bag was a book, a packet of watercolour pens, a bottle of water, some paper, and a camera. She didn't know what exactly she would do once she got here when she was up at the mansion so she brought her art stuff and a historical novel she had just got out of the library.

Stood at the edge of the lake she took a photo, the way the suns rays were glinting off its surface was too perfect a kodak moment to miss. Deciding she had plenty of time to read later, she opened her sketchbook to a blank page and began to draw in the outlines faintly in pencil. She was not the best artist of all time but it was something she enjoyed - and it was a good way to study animals in their natural habitats...

Caroline finally got herself walking out of Spica Mansion. It felt that it had been years for her not to get out of the mansion for at least walking around or enjoying the fresh air. But finally, she got her chance that afternoon to at least walk out for a few moments. She really missed the fresh air, the lake and the wood.

Caroline saw some kids were playing hide and seek, some of them teleported so he could be able to hide. And his friends came over and figured out he used his ability to teleport in playing. But they weren't angry and instead continued the game. Caroline smiled watching at them, she remembered her childhood. It wasn't bad at all.

There were people playing hide and seek across the river, and pausing in her drawing, Aoife took a photo of them to draw later. She saw the headmistress and waved. It was nice to see her out and about.

Caroline saw a girl waving at them. Who was she? Oh, indeed, the headmistress recognized her. She came towards the girl. "Afternoon, Aoife." Caroline greeted her student. She saw Aoife was doing something. Caroline noticed a drawing by Aoife's side. She examined it. "Very good, Aoife. Very talented." Caroline kept examining it, she couldn't believe there was a student who didn't only master the superpower abilities but also non superpowers abilities.
